Policy Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy Advisor to join the Government of Saskatchewan's Ministry of Education in Regina. This is a full-time permanent position with excellent benefits.

  • Location: Regina, SK
  • Salary Range: $51,598 Hourly
  • Grade: SGEU.12
  • Diversity Groups: Aboriginal persons, Persons with disabilities
  • Hours of Work: SGEU Office, with one day off every two weeks
  • Number of Openings: 1

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective policy solutions to support the Ministry's goals and objectives.
  • Provide expert advice to senior officials and stakeholders on policy matters.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to advance policy initiatives.
  • Analyze and evaluate policy options to inform decision-making.
  • Communicate policy information and recommendations to various audiences.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in a relevant field (e.g. public administration, policy studies, law).
  • Proven experience in policy development and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
