Key Responsibilities- Hiring and Training: Recruit, orient, schedule, train, coach, and counsel dining room waitstaff and housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service to our residents.
- Performance Management: Provide timely feedback to team members and consistent performance management to ensure they meet the high standards of our company.
- Operations Management: Establish and manage labor and supplies budgets and expenses to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Customer Service: Provide high levels of customer service and create a restaurant-style dining atmosphere that exceeds the expectations of our residents.
- Quality Assurance: Work closely with the Executive Chef and General Manager/Executive Director to ensure that food, service, dining programs, and housekeeping services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
- Leadership: Train team members on company standards, including cleanliness, sanitation, appearance, service, and satisfaction. Visually confirm that all tables are set according to company standards.
- Problem-Solving: Solve issues before they become problems or complaints, and assist the General Manager/Executive Director with all aspects of community operations.
- Accountability: Act as 'Manager on Duty' when the General Manager/Executive Director is not on site, and may perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
- Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Two (2) year Associates Degree preferred.
- Experience: Two (2) years of prior work experience in 'front of house' supervision and leadership, including managing employees, recruiting, customer service, labor scheduling, budgeting, and expense management.
- Skills: Ability to work in a team setting, provide strong customer service, and basic computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Physical Demands: Able to carry a serving tray with at least 4 meals and/or beverages at any given time, and able to clean apartments and dining room as needed.
- Driving Responsibilities: Position requires driving responsibilities, and must possess a valid driver's license and meet and be in compliance with Company's Motor Vehicle Policy standards.
