Job Summary

Vantage Living Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our residential facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional housekeeping services to residents, ensuring their living spaces are clean, comfortable, and safe.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning and disinfection of resident rooms, common areas, and public spaces, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Monitor and respond to resident requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the Lifestyle Manager to ensure seamless delivery of services and maintain a positive resident experience.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance knowledge and skills in housekeeping, infection control, and resident care.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols, including WHMIS and infection control guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field, preferably in a residential or healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, infection control protocols, and WHMIS guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Physical ability to perform the demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Current First Aid and WHMIS certificates, or willingness to obtain.
