Job Title: Visual Merchandising Manager, Trade and Retail Marketing

Job Summary
Create and drive the vision and strategy of Visual Excellence for adidas in Canada at retail and wholesale locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to maximize sales across the fleet through optimal fixture and space layout.

• Collaborate with retail and wholesale teams to create and distribute visual training materials, directives, and tools.

• Lead and motivate Store VM Champions to achieve visual excellence goals.

• Coach Area Managers and Trainers to drive Visual Excellence for visual merchandising and in-store communication tools.

• Identify training needs and develop guidelines and standards for training programs for in-store VM teams and wholesale accounts.

• Adapt global/US visual merchandising objectives for the Canadian marketplace based on local commercial needs.

• Support the NSO and GTM strategy by working with the NAM Retail Hub and design teams.

• Partner with external resources to ensure solutions align with brand direction.

Requirements

• Proven understanding of retail needs with a focus on product presentation and merchandising.

• Strong conceptual thinking and design critiquing skills.

• Ability to lead, manage, and motivate internal and external project teams.

• Highly developed attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong presentation, planning, and analytical skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Understanding of the Mall channel and Originals consumer within that channel.

• Possess excellent written, oral, and visual communication skills.

• Moderate domestic travel required: approximately 15%.

• Some hands-on retail floor experience preferred.

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Creative Suite.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.), with an emphasis in Marketing/Business/Sales preferred.

• Minimum of three (3) years retail marketing experience.

• Experience in project management and scheduling skills - ideally in developing POS elements.

• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree.

*We have a hybrid work environment, working 3 days in office and 2 days remote. The working location of this position is Woodbridge, Ontario.
