Physiotherapist - Rehabilitation Services Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at the Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients who present with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose patients to develop effective treatment plans
- Provide physiotherapy services in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings
- Educate and communicate with other healthcare disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers
- Supervise and evaluate physiotherapy students and assistants
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university
- Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists (provincial licensing body)
- Computer skills, including statistics input, word processing, and Outlook
- Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS)
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
- A competitive hourly rate of $33.97 - $42.89
