Assembly Technician

Randstad Canada is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Specialist to join our team in Milton. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and installing prefabricated parts and modifying basic components, sub-assemblies, and structures using hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret manufacturing documents to assemble and install prefabricated parts and modify basic components, sub-assemblies, and structures.
- Use 3D model viewing software and Microsoft Office to read engineering drawings and Oracle Bill of Materials.
- Assist other departments as needed, verify parts against requirements, and resolve discrepancies with the supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in assembly within a manufacturing environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance, using proper techniques.
- Proven experience in assembling or repairing products.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and schematics.
