About the Role

BrainStation is a global leader in digital skills training and workforce transformation. We are seeking a Senior Web Developer to lead the delivery of our 12-week Diploma program in Web Development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach our 12-week Web Development Diploma program, delivering lectures and mentoring the next wave of engineering talent.
  • Co-create BrainStation's full-time Web Development Program, applying Agile Education methodologies to continuously improve the educational experience for students.
  • Actively work on writing and researching new content to teach the most up-to-date skills in development to our students.
  • Collaborate with other BrainStation Educators to build the digital platform and tools needed to effectively deliver educational material.
  • Define the education experience of the future, leveraging expertise in core web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with React, Node/Express, and databases.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a web engineering role.
  • Deep expertise working with core web technologies.
  • Experience teaching/mentoring others.
  • A sincere passion for education and creating positive learning experiences for others.
