We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Oak Island Resort & Conference Centre, a division of IMP Group Limited. As a Cook, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

The Opportunity:

As a Cook, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our guests. You will be responsible for following the leadership of the Executive Chef, producing orders in a timely and efficient manner, and maintaining a high level of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our guests
• Follow the leadership of the Executive Chef and maintain a high level of quality and presentation
• Produce orders in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent from an accredited culinary program
• Registered Apprentice would be an asset
• 2 years Culinary experience as a line cook in a busy environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Positive attitude and ability to be a team player
• Willingness to learn and take on multiple tasks
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to show initiative and handle problems without guidance
