Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at MB Sudbury Inc. in Sudbury, ON.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient food preparation and service methods to meet work schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that all necessary materials are available.
- Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that all employees are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including budget and cost estimates.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and physical activity. The successful candidate must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel as needed.
