We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at Second Cup. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a high-quality beverage experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve high-quality beverages, including coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks.
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar and surrounding areas.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
