About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at Apex Contractor & Developer Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on our construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities, including preparing production and other reports, to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and train workers, including bricklayers, cement finishers, tilesetters, glaziers, painters and decorators, floor covering installers, plasterers, drywall installers and finishers, roofers, electrical appliances installers, trades helpers, and labourers.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that workers are aware of and adhere to these regulations.
  • Materials and Equipment: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, and ensure that they are delivered to the site in a timely manner.
  • Cost Estimation: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, and ensure that these estimates are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with workers, management, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed successfully.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a construction supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, noisy, at heights, and dusty.
  • Work Setting: Construction, various locations.
