Position Overview

Apex Contractor & Developer Inc. is seeking a dedicated Construction Site Supervisor to oversee various construction projects. This role is essential in ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Work Environment

The position involves working outdoors in a dynamic environment that may include:

  • Exposure to noise
  • Working at heights
  • Dusty conditions
Work Setting

The role will take place across multiple construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare production and other relevant reports.
  • Supervise workers and manage project activities.
  • Coordinate and schedule various tasks.
  • Recruit, hire, and manage staffing actions.
  • Facilitate training or arrange for training sessions.
  • Set up necessary machinery and equipment.
  • Estimate costs and required materials.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Recommend personnel actions based on performance.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Lead and instruct team members effectively.
Supervisory Responsibilities

The supervisor will oversee a team of:

  • Bricklayers
  • Cement finishers
  • Tilesetters
  • Glaziers
  • Painters and decorators
  • Floor covering installers
  • Plasterers
  • Drywall installers and finishers
  • Roofers
  • Electrical appliances installers
  • Trades helpers
  • Labourers
  • Insulators
Experience Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role.
