Job Summary

We are seeking an Associate Manager, Social Media & Content Creator - TikTok to support our Social Media Manager in content creation and development, as well as the implementation and execution of social media strategies. This is a 6-month contract position based out of our head office in Toronto.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Content Creation and Development: Support the Social Media Manager in creating engaging content for our TikTok channels, including planning and scheduling posts, maintaining and developing the content calendar, and monitoring analytics.
  2. Social Media Strategy Implementation: Assist the Social Media Manager in implementing and executing social media strategies across all TikTok accounts, including TikTok Shop.
  3. Community Management: Assist in managing community management accounts across all TikTok accounts, including responding to comments and messages.
  4. Product Knowledge and Company Information: Stay up to date with DECIEM's product knowledge, company information, launches, and campaigns.
  5. Live Streaming Events: Assist the Social Media Managers with creating and implementing strategy for brand activity on TikTok for all brands, including hosting livestreams.
  6. Trending Videos and Audios: Monitor and report on trending videos and audios on TikTok to assist in content creation and development.
Requirements
  1. Experience with TikTok: Experience making TikToks/Reels (including editing and knowledge of the TikTok platform) is required.
  2. Knowledge of Current Events and Pop Culture: Knowledge in current events and pop culture is required.
  3. Knowledge of Social Media Platforms: Knowledge and proficiency in all current social platforms, especially TikTok, is required.
  4. Social Networking Experience: Demonstrate social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
  5. SEO/Marketing Tools: Knowledge of SEO/Marketing tools is an asset.
