Metro Cleaners 1994 Ltd is seeking a skilled Dry Cleaning Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality dry cleaning and laundry services for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals to achieve the desired cleaning results.
- Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles to ensure they are presented in a clean and professional manner.
- Hand iron laundered fine linens or dry-cleaned silk garments to restore their original appearance.
- Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers and hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, and other dry cleaned and laundered articles.
- Operate fur ironing and glazing equipment to finish fur garments and other fur articles.
- Assemble and bag finished articles to ensure they are ready for customer pickup.
- Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Match invoices or tags with dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in dry cleaning and laundry operations.
- Permanent employment with a regular schedule of 32 to 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
