Position Overview:
The City of Regina is seeking a qualified attorney to become a part of the Office of the City Solicitor's legal team. This role is particularly suited for a legal professional eager to influence the community positively while gaining specialized knowledge in municipal law, particularly in the realms of labor and employment law as well as litigation.

Key Responsibilities:
As the legal advisor to the corporation, you will be tasked with delivering legal, strategic, and operational guidance to various client departments, the City Manager, senior leadership, and City Council along with its Boards and Committees. Your responsibilities may include providing in-house legal services across a variety of practice areas, such as labor and employment law, litigation, and prosecutions.

Reporting Structure:
This position will report directly to the City Solicitor.

Essential Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Law Degree and be a member in good standing with the Law Society of Saskatchewan or be eligible for admission. Experience in Municipal Law and Labor and Employment law is advantageous but not mandatory.
