We are seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team at Weld O Canada Inc.

  • Education and Experience
    • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
    • At least 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in welding is necessary.
  • Key Responsibilities
    • Interpret welding process specifications to ensure high-quality results.
    • Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
    • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to precision-cut metal.
    • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines to create complex metal components.
    • Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal parts and products using welding, brazing, and soldering techniques.
    • Determine the weldability of various materials to ensure optimal results.
    • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Requirements
    • Attention to detail is essential to ensure high-quality results.
    • Excellent hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate complex equipment.
  • Work Terms
    • This is a permanent position.
    • The work language is English.
    • The work hours are 32 hours per week.
