Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Service Technician to join our team at NewTech Appliance LTD. As an Appliance Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical appliances and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify faults and defects in electrical appliances
  • Use electrical test equipment to diagnose and repair electrical issues
  • Prepare detailed estimates of repair costs and advise customers on work performed
  • Refer to schematic drawings and product manuals to repair parts and components
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults using testing devices
  • Repair and replace faulty electrical components
  • Advise customers on the condition of their equipment and provide recommendations for maintenance and repair
  • Use specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair and adjust appliances
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in electrical appliance repair
  • Own transportation
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to work 35 to 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a physically demanding work environment. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift and move heavy equipment.
