About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Service Technician to join our team at NewTech Appliance LTD. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical appliances and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough tests using electrical test equipment to identify faults and defects.
  • Prepare detailed estimates of repair costs and advise customers on work performed and equipment condition.
  • Use schematic drawings and product manuals to repair parts and diagnose issues.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical appliances and components, including replacing faulty components.
  • Advise customers on work performed and equipment condition, and provide recommendations for future maintenance.
  • Use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust, and reprogram appliances.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in electrical appliance repair or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 35-40 hours per week.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Fluency in English language.
