Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and oversee the Cementation Training Initiative at the operational site.
- Manage the training program aligned with the Ontario Common Core Modules for Underground Hardrock Mining.
- Evaluate the training requirements of the workforce.
- Organize training sessions for personnel.
- Develop and deliver the WHMIS Training Initiative.
- Maintain training records for each employee.
- Review and update documented job procedures.
- Facilitate safety briefings and distribute task cards.
- Coordinate First Aid and CPR Training sessions.
- Assist in formulating site safety regulations and addressing safety issues.
- Participate in mandatory training sessions and conferences relevant to the Ontario Common Core.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
General Responsibilities:
- Adhere to organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Promote a secure working environment.
- Contribute to the team safety initiative.
- Ensure that damaged equipment is not utilized and report to the supervisor.
- Uphold cleanliness and orderliness standards.
- Follow established procedures and operational standards.
- Utilize safety protocols outlined in the site safety management framework.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Successfully complete pre-employment assessments.
- Possess relevant educational qualifications and certifications.
- Have 10-15 years of experience in the industry.
Skills, Knowledge, and Competencies:
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Capability to foster relationships and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding of confidentiality principles and ability to work independently.
