Job Title: Service Advisor

Are you a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills? Do you have experience working in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Service Advisor to join our team at Sun Life Financial.

About the Role:

The Service Advisor will play a key role in ensuring effective mail handling, categorization, scanning, and data completion of documents correctly and efficiently. This involves mail handling, including the distribution of documents to internal customer departments, classification of documents into subcategories, printing from databases, and retrieval of documents from 3rd party websites with occasional document preparation.

The successful applicant will work in a team environment to ensure service standards are met and strict quality targets are adhered to. The Service Advisor will also be responsible for ensuring all documents received are handled efficiently and document exceptions are expedited to the appropriate departments in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Sort and distribute mail to internal customer departments
  • Classify documents into subcategories
  • Print documents from databases
  • Retrieve documents from 3rd party websites
  • Prepare documents for scanning
  • Ensure documents meet strict physical document quality standards
  • Expedite document exceptions to the appropriate departments
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bilingualism (French and English, both oral and written)
  • Experience using office software, Windows, Outlook, Sharepoint, Onedrive, Onenote, and Excel
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
