At TELUS Health, we're committed to building a healthier and friendlier future for all. As a Principal in our Actuarial Consulting practice, you'll play a crucial role in developing strategic long-term plans for our clients' defined benefits pension schemes.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive and thoughtful consulting to deliver integrative solutions and oversee all aspects of client service.
  • Lead and influence internal and external stakeholders to address complex business challenges.
  • Grow the practice within your region by identifying new business opportunities and positioning TELUS Health as a leader in the market.

What We're Looking For:

  • 10+ years of experience in pension plan consulting.
  • Professional actuarial designation such as FCIA, ASA, or FSA.
  • Solid understanding of the various pension schemes and actuarial standards of practice within the Public and Private sectors.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, financial markets, and industry developments and emerging trends related to the pension industry.
  • Strong client relationship management, up to C-suite, based on a trusted advisor model.
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities, drive revenue growth, and meet budget and profitability targets.
  • Proven leadership and mentorship to team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
