Job Title: Data Integrity Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Integrity Specialist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our Digital Health team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of client information across our province-wide health care system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor data quality and collaborate with source system organizations to resolve data quality issues.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement in the quality of client information across source systems and processes.
  • Provide training to site contacts and application maintenance teams.
  • Work independently with minimal direction and protect confidential information.
  • Use analytical and methodical approach to investigate and resolve concerns and ensure technology systems are running optimally to meet user needs.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience using and training others on admissions/discharge/transfer (ADT) systems in a health information services environment.
  • 2 years of experience facilitating, developing and implementing business processes and policies.
  • Experience working under the Manitoba Personal Health Information Act and working with report development tools are assets.
Education and Certification:
  • A post-secondary diploma in health information management.
  • Active member in good standing and current certification from the Canadian Health Information Management Association.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to work safely in a typical computerized office environment with frequent meetings.
  • Must be able to lift and carry items of up to approximately 10 kg.
  • Travel throughout the province requiring a valid Manitoba driver's license and use of a personal motor vehicle.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
