About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Advisor to join our team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our Advisory Team, you will play a critical role in deepening client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service: Provide proactive client service with a problem-resolution focus and attention to details. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary.
  • Business Development: Identify and execute opportunities among existing client base for asset consolidation, referrals, etc.
  • Client Acquisition: Co-manage client acquisition pipeline (prospects / leads); work with advisory team to close new opportunities.
  • Relationship Management: Deepen existing relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) through ongoing management.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct ongoing research on markets and investments, provide regular updates to the advisory team.
  • Support and Coordination: Support advisory team and client through the Wealth Management process. Help gather relevant information, coordinate activities with Wealth Management specialists, track progress and follow up.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 to 4 years of professional experience within the investment industry.
  • Registration: Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with IIROC.
  • Education: Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course or Investment Management Techniques (IMT).
  • Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong Microsoft Office skills, and a self-directed individual with a growth and goals-oriented mindset.
