Position Overview:
Amber is in search of a Localization Quality Assurance Tester proficient in Slovak to join our team. Comprehensive training will be offered to candidates without prior experience. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate video games for linguistic, visual, and cultural discrepancies across various platforms, working alongside a diverse group of QA testers.

  • Conduct quality assurance testing on video game titles in Slovak
  • Detect translation, contextual, cultural, and other linguistic inaccuracies
  • Document errors accurately in bug-tracking systems
  • Suggest improvements to enhance content quality
  • Adhere to established terminology guidelines
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve issues in multiple languages
  • Report to the Test Lead and follow provided instructions
  • Identify and escalate issues as necessary

Required Skills:

  • Fluency in Slovak at a native level
  • Eligibility to work in Canada
  • Familiarity with mobile, PC, and console gaming platforms
  • A genuine passion for video games
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Professional proficiency in English
