Culinary Services Supervisor

Neighbourly Pharmacy Inc. is seeking a Culinary Services Supervisor to become a vital part of our team.
Position Overview:
- The Culinary Services Supervisor is tasked with overseeing, guiding, and coordinating the operations of the Culinary Staff responsible for preparing, portioning, and serving meals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop work schedules and establish operational procedures.
- Assess and procure necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Order food and kitchen essentials as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
- Prepare financial budgets and cost estimates.
- Compile and submit necessary reports.
- May assist in the recruitment of culinary staff and contribute to the formulation of policies, procedures, and budgets.
Supervision:
- Responsible for supervising a team of 5 to 10 individuals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Preferred background in the Culinary Services Industry.
- Thorough understanding of culinary products and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including motivation, delegation, conflict resolution, and active listening.
- Professional demeanor with strong communication abilities towards customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
- Due to the sensitive nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a Criminal Record Check.
