Vancouver Hebrew Academy, the only orthodox Jewish elementary school in Vancouver, is currently seeking Teachers On Call to fill in for teachers who are absent. This is an occasional work opportunity, with a competitive salary offered.

About the Role:

We provide a warm and welcoming, family environment with small class sizes and extra one-to-one supports for students who need it. Our faculty are a committed and inclusive team with a positive attitude towards innovative, professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fill in for absent teachers on an occasional basis
  • Support students in a small class environment
  • Collaborate with experienced teachers to provide high-quality instruction
  • Utilize a range of teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture

Requirements:

  • Current TRB Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Education
