Position Overview: As an SAP Consultant – Archiving, your primary responsibility will be to manage the data archiving processes within the SAP framework. This role is crucial for ensuring the effective and compliant handling of data archiving, aimed at optimizing system performance, adhering to legal standards, and fulfilling business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a robust data archiving strategy that aligns with the organization's data management policies and business goals.
  • Identify and categorize the types of data that require archiving, along with establishing suitable retention periods.
  • Plan and execute data archiving initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing business activities.
  • Oversee and manage the archiving processes to maintain data integrity and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with business units and IT teams to ensure cohesive support for archiving operations.
  • Conduct regular audits of archiving processes to ensure compliance and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Address Level 2 and Level 3 support issues related to SD/MM.
  • Handle Service Requests that are pre-approved due to their low-risk nature.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing multiple end-to-end project lifecycles for SAP and other business systems.
  • Familiarity with SAP standard functionalities (e.g., ERP, HANA) and custom development processes.
  • Proven experience in SAP support, operations, and change request delivery.
  • Previous involvement in data archiving projects is advantageous.
  • Experience in overseeing an external team of SAP consultants is a plus.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as ISO 13485, CFR 820, GMP, GDP, MDSAP, MDR, and GRC is beneficial.
