Job Title: Junior Security Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Security Consultant to join our team at CB Canada. As a Junior Security Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our Physical Security team in conducting personnel security screening and security clearance activities, creating and providing ID card and access control services, and providing security administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct personnel security screening and security clearance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Create and provide ID card and access control services to ensure secure access to company facilities.
  • Provide security administrative support to the Physical Security team, including monitoring, assessing, prioritizing, triaging, and assigning security tickets in a ticket management software.
  • Participate in weekly Security Operations team meetings to discuss security-related topics and share best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of physical security risk management strategies and participate in other assigned security-related projects and tasks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of experience assisting a senior resource conducting tasks and activities related to Physical Security.
  • Experience conducting at least two out of six of the following tasks:
  1. Assisting with the conduct of threat and risk assessments and researching or drafting recommendations related to physical security.
  2. Participating in the development of physical security risk management strategies.
  3. Contributing to the conduct of maturity analysis of physical security controls.
  4. Supporting role in the Planning and Conducting administrative investigations into the suspected theft or loss of corporate assets.
  5. Researching, developing, and/or updating Policy Instruments or other supporting documentation related to Physical Security.

Additional Information:

The Junior Security Consultant will be required to work according to CB Canada's Hybrid Workplace Model, and some work will need to be performed onsite (in person) at CB Canada's offices on a regular basis.
