Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Produce Buyer to join our team at Big Brothers Food. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring adequate stock levels.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of produce.
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to maximize value for Big Brothers Food.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent overstocking and understocking.
- Review and analyze sales data to determine product demand and adjust purchasing decisions accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of purchasing activities.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Urban area work setting.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
