About the Role

Benevity is a leading provider of corporate social responsibility and employee engagement solutions. We're seeking a highly experienced Chief Information Security Officer to join our team and help us deliver a technology-driven growth strategy in a demanding high-growth SaaS company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain the enterprise vision, strategy, and program for information security
  • Identify, develop, implement, and maintain processes to reduce information and IT risks
  • Lead the security operations team and collaborate with engineering, product management, and executive leadership to define enterprise security standards
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy addressing business needs, including money movement and PII protection
  • Communicate risks to executive leadership and the Board
  • Provide leadership and direction to the information security team
  • Oversee the investigation of security breaches and assist with disciplinary and legal matters
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
  • Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or information security is a plus
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in information security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven experience in implementing information security strategies
  • Experience managing a team of information security professionals
