Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the team of Project Managers, providing essential support from various functions.
- Cultivate and maintain customer relationships to ensure optimal contract performance and manage change orders effectively.
- Actively engage in budget formulation, committing to sales, orders, cash flow, and profitability in relation to project execution.
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to promote our portfolio, including maintenance and parts contracts, under the guidance of Customer Directors.
- Assist bid teams in their tendering processes, ensuring a seamless transition regarding Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) between tenders and project execution.

Contract Management:
- Ensure proper execution of contracts, taking overall responsibility for customer satisfaction as reflected in annual surveys.
- Negotiate variation orders in accordance with company policies, partnering with customers to fulfill mutual contractual obligations.

Team Leadership:
- Directly manage the Project Managers on the East Coast, ensuring they receive adequate support from various functions.
- Ensure the correct implementation of all corporate project management processes and tools, liaising with the Project Management Office (PMO) as necessary.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration is required.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in bids and contract execution within the railway sector is essential.
- Willingness to spend up to 50% of time out of the office during certain periods.
