Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Well Monitoring Field Technician to support our operations. The ideal candidate will be based in the Grande Prairie area and will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional service. This position requires flexibility for travel and availability for on-call support around the clock during scheduled shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
In-Shop Duties:

  • Manage inventory, including equipment inspections, quality checks, and maintenance.
  • Address equipment issues, such as battery replacements and parts repairs.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for shop activities, including inspections and inventory reports.
  • Maintain constant communication with the Operations Manager regarding shop status.
  • Ensure cleanliness and security of the shop environment.
Field Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and vehicles prior to and following each assignment.
  • Safely install, retrieve, and troubleshoot surface equipment in various field locations.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Operations Manager to provide updates on location and job status.
  • Report any field-related issues promptly to the Operations Manager.
  • Ensure all required certifications are current and prepare necessary paperwork.
  • Communicate effectively with Well Operators and Frac Supervisors.
  • Return and clean the company vehicle after job completion.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Availability for flexible hours, including 24/7 accessibility during shifts.
  • Preferred experience in the oil and gas sector.
  • Mechanical and technological aptitude is advantageous.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to drive long distances in remote areas.
Required Certifications:
  • First Aid & CPR.
  • H2S Alive.
  • WHMIS and TDG.
  • CSO.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Compensation: The compensation package includes a base salary complemented by field trip earnings, along with a food allowance for each field assignment.
