About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Nourish NB. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that they are of high quality and presented in a visually appealing manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the size of food portions and costs
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
