Infasco Nut, a prominent player in the automotive sector located in Mississauga, is currently seeking a dedicated Shipper/Receiver. If you possess a valid Forklift license, we encourage you to explore this opportunity.
Work Schedule: This position involves a rotating schedule across three shifts (day, afternoon, and night), totaling 40 hours per week.
- 2 weeks on the day shift
- 2 weeks on the afternoon shift
- 2 weeks on the night shift
Compensation: The hourly wage is set at $22.14, with additional premiums for shift differentials: $1.15 for afternoon shifts and $1.35 for night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in ensuring the efficient operation of the department.
- Utilize Forklift and Reach Truck for order picking tasks.
- Engage in order verification and manage any potential backlogs.
- Coordinate with other departments to prevent delays in customer deliveries.
- Perform various related duties as required by the department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma is preferred.
- Must be a licensed Forklift operator with the ability to operate a Reach Truck.
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.
- Experience in shipping processes is an asset.
- Familiarity with order picking in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Physical capability to lift boxes weighing 35-40 pounds is necessary.
- Proficient computer skills are essential.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and good memory are critical for follow-up tasks.
