About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our General Medicine Unit at Chinook Regional Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing services to patients, families, and communities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Utilize critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to deliver patient-centered care.
- Teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families.
- Support an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
- Acute Medicine experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Stroke and PD experience preferred.
