Role Overview:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, appropriate, and cost-effective nursing care to individuals and families within the community. Your responsibilities will include:

- Teaching and delegating tasks to various levels of staff and family members, adhering to the standards set by VON and the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Nova Scotia.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
- Actively participating as a member of the healthcare team in committees and working groups.

Qualifications:
- Registration with the College of Nurses of Nova Scotia (CNNS) and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Experience in mental health and addictions is an asset.
- Emergency room experience is also beneficial.
- Proficiency in using software for client documentation, word processing, and communication.
- A personal vehicle is required, along with a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance.
- A vulnerable sector search and/or child abuse registry check may be necessary.
