In this role, you will independently manage and maintain at least one process, equipment, or system in accordance with autonomous maintenance (AM) standards, utilizing your technical expertise to enhance line and/or system efficiency to fulfill business objectives.

Your Contributions

You play a vital role in transforming how the world enjoys snacks. With guidance, you will operate and maintain machinery to achieve our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and employee satisfaction goals. You will execute all standard operating procedures on your equipment, adhering to AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and conducting quality assurance activities. You will identify and report losses in your area and equipment.

Role Specifics

Key Responsibilities

Alternate between tasks of feeding finished products onto the inspection table and evaluating product quality, ensuring that packaged items meet quality standards. In certain instances, the Production Line Operator will be responsible for packing products into boxes and manually loading them onto pallets for storage. Communicate material needs to relevant personnel Provide assistance as needed to machine operators Maintain cleanliness in the work area Uphold general cleanliness in the work center, assist with major cleaning tasks, and ensure cleanliness at the end of shifts Address and resolve equipment jams Document batch numbers and timestamps for each new pallet Understand and follow standard operating procedures and work instructions Participate in and support all safety programs, policies, and initiatives within the manufacturing environment Ensure that all packaged products comply with GMP and food safety standards Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

Skills and Knowledge

Training in GMP/Food Safety and HACCP Lockout training WHMIS certification Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Educational Background

High School Diploma

Experience and Skills

Previous experience with production line machinery or food processing equipment is advantageous.

Physical and Mental Effort

Physical Requirements:

High physical effort is required for: Bending, lifting from various heights, manual dexterity, standing for extended periods, walking, crouching, reaching, and repetitive physical tasks.

Mental Requirements:

Minor overall mental effort is needed: High attention to detail is essential, as tasks may be repetitive but require careful monitoring.
