About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Healthy Cart Canada. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST/HST and corporate income tax returns.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including variance analysis and budgeting.
Requirements
  • Education: College diploma or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as accounting or finance.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
