Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Construction Assistant to join our team at Royal Craft Construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will assist in various aspects of construction projects, including loading and transporting materials, erecting scaffolding, and assisting in drilling and blasting rock.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from construction sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the supervision of experienced personnel.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, following safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications, using specialized equipment and techniques.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings, safely and efficiently.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, ensuring they are properly stored and accounted for.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, following established procedures.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring they are properly maintained and operated.
