Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to join our team at Magna. As a key member of our program management team, you will be responsible for leading programs from receipt of order to steady state production, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving improvement through value add/value engineering opportunities.
Your Responsibilities- Participate in APQP Phase 1/New Program Quotes, providing detailed information to the Quoting Team for any changes from initial Program Award forward.
- Perform formal/informal risk review and develop risk management strategies to minimize program exposure and ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements, QMS (IATF16949), Health and Safety (ISO 45001), EMS (ISO14001), and security (PIP) requirements.
- Coordinate and lead resources to ensure successful program implementation.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure product design development aligns with planned tooling, manufacturing, and process development for the Program application, considering cost and customer quality expectations.
- Provide expertise to Purchasing, Tooling, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality Engineering in defining technical requirements, vendor selection in support of achieving defined program targets and customer expectations.
- Coordinate pre-production builds and ramp-up builds to meet customer part delivery expectations.
- Post-secondary degree in Engineering or related field preferred or strong technical background.
- Minimum 5 years related experience, preferably in the automotive industry as a Program Manager.
