We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Allscape Ltd. as a key member of our logistics operations.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining a variety of commercial vehicles, transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:- Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials to various locations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform preventive maintenance.
- Documentation: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and prepare inspection reports, maintenance and repair reports, and trip reports.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch and interact with customers and colleagues as needed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Licenses and Certifications: Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment.
