- Inspect Vehicle and Equipment: Regularly inspect vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition, performing necessary maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Perform Maintenance and Inspections: Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Receive and Relay Information: Receive and relay important information to dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Record Cargo Information and Fuel Consumption: Accurately record cargo information, fuel consumption, and other relevant data to optimize routes and reduce costs.
- Tarping and Ensuring Cargo Safety: Ensure cargo is properly secured and protected during transportation, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Certificates/Licences: Possess a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence.
- Documentation Knowledge: Familiarity with inspection reports, maintenance reports, and trip reports.
- Transportation/Travel Experience: Proven experience in local and short-haul transportation.
- Work Conditions: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and meeting deadlines.
