About the Role

PAL Airlines is seeking a highly skilled Crew Scheduler to join our team in St. John's, NL. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth scheduling of our flight crew, ensuring proper coverage for sick leave, and arranging schedules to accommodate vacation requests without impacting operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Flight Crew Scheduling for company aircraft
  • Ensure proper coverage is provided for sick leave
  • Arrange schedules to accommodate vacation requests without impacting the operation
  • Arrange shift trades as permitted
  • Arrange classroom and sim training and adjust schedules accordingly
  • Coordinate with operations management for schedule changes
  • Travel coordination for purposes of training and crew positioning
  • Invoice and PO reconciliation
  • Attend weekly training meetings
  • Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and independently
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/requirements and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to complete shift work and after-hours on call
  • Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations
