- Accurately selects and assembles orders from different temperature zones, prioritizing quality to guarantee timely deliveries to customers.
- Packages orders meticulously, ensuring correct identification of similar products, precise quantities, and accurate product codes.
- Verifies that selected items meet the highest quality standards, avoiding damaged goods and ensuring the freshest selections.
- Properly documents and labels all orders by interpreting and understanding various forms of documentation, including pick slips and shipping labels.
- Maximizes tote space by packing orders efficiently while upholding product quality standards.
- Balances fulfillment tasks with customer service, addressing and resolving any issues that arise.
- Maintains strict compliance with safety and food hygiene regulations, ensuring a clean workspace, prompt cleanup of spills, and cleanliness of all packing materials; operates material handling equipment safely and responsibly, completing all pre-use safety checks; demonstrates behaviors that align with the organization's mission and core values.
- Engages in continuous improvement efforts by proposing enhancements to operational procedures, productivity benchmarks, customer satisfaction, safety measures, working conditions, and quality standards; shows adaptability in adjusting work assignments based on customer needs and daily delivery requirements.
The starting pay rate for this position is $17.55, with compensation determined by relevant experience.
