Social Worker

At Lifemark Health Group, we are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing psychotherapy and social work interventions to clients, primarily military veterans, to address mental health and psychosocial problems.
Responsibilities:- Provide goal-focused psychotherapy to clients to address mental health and psychosocial problems.
- Conduct social work assessments and interventions in the client's social milieu to improve social and community functioning.
- Utilize a cognitive-behavioral approach to intervention based on an overall client-centered philosophy.
- Provide group psychoeducational services.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences to discuss clients' treatment plans and goals.
- Masters Degree in Social Work.
- Registration with a provincial College of Social Workers as an autonomous practitioner in good standing.
- 2 years+ of experience in case conceptualization and psychotherapy/social work intervention for a range of mental health symptoms and psycho-social barriers.
