About the Role

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Small Engine and Tool Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs on our equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on small engines and tools
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Work with a variety of makes and models of equipment
  • Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management
  • Collaborate with a safety-focused team to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment preferred
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
