About The Position

DoorDash is creating a robust on-demand logistics platform for delivery services. As we continue to expand our Engineering teams globally, we are in search of Backend Engineers to design and sustain a large-scale, 24/7 global infrastructure that supports DoorDash's three-sided marketplace involving Consumers, Merchants, and Dashers.

We are seeking Backend Engineers to contribute to both Product and Product Platform teams. Engineers focused on Product will work at the convergence of product development and infrastructure to address critical business challenges with sophisticated technical solutions. You will manage our backend services and architecture that underpin all product functionalities, requiring you to think broadly and collaborate across various teams while assessing and implementing trade-offs to enhance business outcomes for the organization.

This position is hybrid, necessitating some in-office presence, and will report to an Engineering Manager.

  • Experience with backend technology stacks

  • Knowledge of contemporary web stacks and architecture (HTTP, REST)
