About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Elementary Level Generalist Teacher to join our team at the Catholic Independent Schools of Vancouver Archdiocese. As a Generalist Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a range of subjects to students in elementary grade levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach a variety of subjects, including language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies, to students in elementary grade levels.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve student outcomes.
  • Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and social growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification.
  • Experience teaching elementary grade levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
