Job Summary

Balingit Transport Incorporated is seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials across international routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Logistics and Planning: Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods and materials, including obtaining special permits and documents required for international routes.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, as well as oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with the ability to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
