  • Vehicle Operations: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Logistics and Planning: Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods and materials, including loading and unloading, to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, including the handling of hazardous materials, and adhere to all relevant safety protocols.
  • Communication: Relay information to central dispatch and receive and relay information to other team members as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with the ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Conditions: Overtime required, with a 40-hour workweek.
